The Short Form version includes only the rules and landscape layout, and it is updated for 2017. The rules are available in several foreign languages, including French, German, and Spanish. You can download them for free from the TDA’s website. But if you’d like to have a paper copy of the PDF, make sure to read the full version.

Before the popularity of Texas Hold’em, the game was called five card draw. In this game, each player is dealt five cards, including two hole cards and five community cards. Players trade up to three of their cards for new ones. This version of poker is similar to Texas Hold’em, but the decks and the number of cards are different. The five community cards are all turned over at the same time, not in three rounds. The rules also stipulate that the lowest hand wins, but only if it’s lower than the next best hand.
