The Last American Sports League to Sign an Official Betting Deal

The NFL is the last American sports league to sign an official betting deal. This deal will grant NFL teams and sportsbooks access to official league data and allows them to promote their relationship with the league. Official statistics from the NFL’s games will be available for online and TV fans to wager on. As a bonus, NFL betting partners will be able to tie their brand to on-air statistics and on-line wagering. The NFL has the option to opt-out of the partnership after the first two years.

In addition to partnering with the PGA TOUR, bet365 has also announced a three-year marketing deal. The deal will also designate the company as the series’ Official Betting Operator outside North America. As part of the deal, bet365 will provide odds on leaderboards and player pages as well as on its 3D virtual reality service TOURCast, which allows fans to watch the players’ every shot.

The sports betting industry has been booming since the Supreme Court legalized sports betting in many U.S. states. The amount of money wagered with PGA Tour official betting operators increased by nearly 50 percent between 2020 and ’21. Further growth is expected. However, there are many questions to be answered as the sport continues to evolve. For example, how does the PGA Tour expect this new type of betting to impact the business?

Some sports betting sites take advantage of unsuspecting consumers. They often refuse to honor their winnings and drag out payouts.
